Kaasi offers two ways to use the app, and the data handling is different for each:

When you create an account, we collect and process the following categories of information, solely for the purpose of operating the app's features:
We do not collect sensitive identifiers such as bank account numbers, card numbers, or government ID numbers. All financial figures entered are user-defined labels and amounts, not linked to real banking systems.
Kaasi does not currently use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. We plan to integrate the following in a future update, and this policy is written to disclose that in advance:
When introduced, you will be notified via an in-app notice, and where required by law (such as in the EU/UK), your consent will be requested before any non-essential data collection begins. You will be able to manage ad personalization through your device's settings at any time.
We do not use your financial data for profiling, credit scoring, or any automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

While we apply strong safeguards, no system can be guaranteed 100% secure. We encourage users to use strong, unique passwords and to keep their devices secure.
We retain your account and financial data for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account, your associated personal data is deleted from our active production systems within 30 days, except where retention is required to comply with a legal obligation, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
We do not sell your personal or financial data. We only share data with:
Your data may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States or other regions where Firebase/Google Cloud operate infrastructure. Where applicable, such transfers rely on the data importer's standard contractual safeguards and certifications (such as those Google maintains for Firebase services) to ensure an adequate level of protection.

Kaasi is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that a child's data has been collected without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, features, or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the most recent revision. For material changes — such as introducing analytics or advertising — we will provide notice within the app prior to the change taking effect.
